Eerie Queerie / Fake

These two particular recommendations are considered "boy love" titles which focuses on boy/boy relationship stories for women. They are both fun and interesting though for any gender or orientation.

<---'Eerie Queerie' (published in the US by Tokyopop) is a short book series about a boy named Mitsuo that often becomes possessed by mostly female ghosts. They make him do strange things that include being inappropriate to other male students. Hilarity, jealousy, and even attempted murder ensue as unique relationships are formed between both the boys and the passing spirits.

<---'Fake' (also published in the US by Tokyopop) is about two New York cops who have a love for the law AND each other. Shy cop Ryo joins the police force sparking the interest of cocky new partner, Dee. They solve mysteries and crimes and end up getting into several sticky love triangle situations. Side story lines involving other side characters keep the series moving at a engaging pace. For those that enjoy this one you can buy the animated DVD as well. (Buy yours at

These are two older titles and there are certainly many more new and exciting titles out there, so if you're interested in finding out more about 'BL Manga' check out http://yaoisuki.net/.
