Halloween Countdown

9 Days Left Until Halloween! We've been doing our movie trailer countdown until the big day with some of our favorite features for the season. Today we focus on 'zombies from around the worllldddd.'

In 'Junk' a gang trying to do a deal with the local yakuza get more than they bargained for when they stumble across what seems like an abandoned factory. Unfortunately for them some American scientists had been conducting experiments there and left behind a bevy of the living dead! What some gangstas to do!?

AMERICA

It's hard to find good NEW B-Movies lately so we were happy to discover the saucy 'Zombie Strippers'. This film stars Robert Englund (Freddy from A Nightmare On Elm Street Series, etc.)as a shady strip joint owner who manages a staff of catty porn-esque dancers who happen to include former-adult-actress Jenna Jameson. In a nutshell the strippers become slutty zombie dancers, who in turn become so popular men don't even want to see regular girls dance anymore. That starts a chain reaction of girls selling themselves out to become the famed zombie strippers. There is a loose 'social message' raveled in the shifty plot and some of the scenes seem like rips from other zombie movies, it's true. BUT, after you see the living-dead ping pong show and awesome zombie girl vs girl fight scenes you'll be too busy laughing to care about that other stuff.
You're straight-guy friends will appreciate the full frontal strip shows and you'll get to see a great horror-comedy.....sounds like a good time for shots!

'The Beyond' is considered by Lucio Fulci's fans to be one of his best works. Filmed in a dream-like style, the movie show's a sampling of what it would be like if the land of the dead crossed over with the world of the living. This is only a 'loose' interpretation of the plot which includes ghosts, tarantulas, an old hotel, zombies, and more! Watch for yourself and enjoy the strange but interesting ending!
