Here's a quick run down of current news events involving gay related issues.....


*Maine becomes the 5th state to approve gay marriage

*'Pseudo-political celebrity?' 'Joe The Plumber' makes silly comments in Christian magazine claiming gays are not welcome around his kids.

*Lebanese group 'Helem' (arabic for 'dream' and an acronym of Lebanese Protection for the GLBTQ community) prepare their campaign to overturn the law that makes homosexuality illegal.

*Miss California becomes latest anti-gay spokesperson in new ads against gay marriage. (Thank god she's not Miss America)

*Maine allows gay marriage but now has to wait since a 'formal challenge' has been filed asking for a public vote on the issue.

*Republican representative Virginia Foxx declares the Matthew Shepard murders a 'hoax' created by gay rights activists.

*Vermont allows gay marriage

*A greek court rules the first wave of gay marriages are now 'invalid'

*Radio shock jock 'Howard Stern' defends gays yet again on radio show after receiving an email saying his show was becoming 'too gay.'
