Lawmakers approved a bill December 21st, 2009 to allow gay marriage and gay adoption in Mexico City.
Obviously all of our favorite circus characters have come out in opposition like the roman catholic church which states this is an “immoral law" and Archbishop of Mexico 'Cardinal Norberto Rivera Carrera' who says this law is “unacceptable and reprehensible” because such an upbringing would subject children to “such injustice.”
Either way we're happy with the progression that is moving along even if it is at a dying snails pace.
